    Use the Open & Repair Utility Tool in Excel

    Use of this tool in excel will enable you to recover damaged or corrupt files. Please carry out the following steps –
    🔷 Open Excel
    🔷 Go to the File menu
    🔷 Click Open
    🔷 From the drop-down box, select the corrupt file
    🔷 Click on Open & Repair
    🔷 Now click on Repair
    🔷 After the repairing process gets completed, open QuickBooks and check if the issue is still there

    Edit the Registry Key

    🔷 Log in to your system as an admin 
    🔷 Go to the Start menu
    🔷 Type Regedit on the space provided
    🔷 Press Enter
    🔷 The Registry Editor window will open up on your screen
    🔷 Browse to the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Intuit\ QuickBooks\Security
    🔷 Click Edit
    🔷 Tab on New
    🔷 Opt for the DWORD value
    🔷 A new registry key will pop up on the right of the screen
    🔷 Name it as AllowOMWithUI and press Enter
    🔷 Now right click on the key to edit it
    🔷 A dialogue box named Edit DWORD Value will appear
    🔷 On the Value Data field, enter 1
    🔷 Press Enter
    🔷 Close the Registry Editor
    🔷 Restart your computer
    🔷 Open QuickBooks and check if the issue is still there

    Recover Missing Macros

    🔷 Open a new excel file
    🔷 Set the calculation mode to ‘manual’
    🔷 Go to the Tools menu
    🔷 Click on Security
    🔷 Select High
    🔷 Click on the Office tab
    🔷 Go to Excel options
    🔷 Navigate to Trust Center on the left
    🔷 Now click on the Trust Center Settings  tab
    🔷 Go to Macro Settings
    🔷 Mark the checkbox next to ‘Disable all macros without notification’
    🔷 Click the OK button two times
    🔷 Open the corrupt/damaged workbook
    🔷 A message will appear stating that ‘Macros are disabled’
    🔷 Now press Alt+F11 together to open the MS Visual Basic Editor

    🔷 Repeat these steps multiple times till the entire module gets exported
    🔷 Close the Visual Basic Editor and Exit
    🔷 Open QuickBooks and check if the issue is still there
